Cong ‘gang of power-hungry individuals’: Capt Abhimanyu

Former minister Capt Abhimanyu today said promises made by the BJP in the Assembly poll would be fulfilled within a specific time limit.

He said the party’s mayoral candidate, Praveen Popli, would win by a significant margin.

He said Hisar residents had decided to hand over the governance to the BJP’s workers, leading to the formation of a ‘triple-engine’ government.

“Once the urban government is in place, the mayor and other councillors will work to implement the government’s policies,” said Capt Abhimanyu, adding that only BJP had the vision for development.

The former minister said the Congress does not exist in Haryana anymore. He described Congress as a “gang of power-hungry individuals” trying to seize power for selfish gains and loot the state. He said the people of Haryana would never forgive those who had harmed the state and its people.

Capt Abhimanyu also spoke about the international airport project in Hisar, which began in 2014 when he served as the Finance and Aviation Minister.

He said he had the privilege of laying the foundation stone for the airport and overseeing various stages of its development.
