Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee president Rao Narendra, Rohtak MP and CWC member Deepender Singh Hooda, AICC secretary and co-incharge Jitendra Baghel and AICC secretary and former MLA Chiranjeev Rao were among the senior leaders present.

Rao Narendra alleged that the large-scale vote theft in Haryana was not an isolated incident but a “well-planned conspiracy.” He claimed that 99 per cent of the EVMs displayed full battery levels during counting, which he said raised suspicions. He further alleged that nearly 25 lakh votes were stolen across the state, adding, “There is concrete evidence of theft of around 47,000 votes in Bawal, 53,000 in Kosli, and 42,000 in Rewari.”

Deepender Hooda said exit polls clearly indicated a Congress victory and in the initial counting of ballot papers, the party was leading on 73 seats. “In the last five assembly elections, ballot trends have always matched the final results, but this time, despite Congress leading in ballot votes, the BJP formed the government,” he stated. He alleged that in some areas, up to 500 fake votes were registered under a single household and that lakhs of votes were added or deleted between the Lok Sabha and Assembly polls.

He urged people to strengthen the movement, announcing a large rally on December 14 at Delhi’s Ramlila Maidan, with Congress workers from across Haryana and the country expected to participate.

Chiranjeev Rao alleged massive vote theft in Rewari during the 2024 Assembly polls. He said CCTV cameras at several polling stations were deliberately switched off, casting serious doubt on the transparency of voting. He alleged that fake voters were added and genuine voters removed from lists in both rural and urban areas to favour the BJP.

Turning to local issues, he said illegal encroachments on government property had risen sharply under the current regime. He blamed the government for worsening air quality, groundwater depletion, unchecked industrial growth and land encroachment.
