Cong manifesto compilation of false promises: Shah
Seeking votes for BJP candidate Rao Narbir in Haryana’s biggest Assembly segment Badshahpur, Home Minister Amit Shah accused former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda of running a government of agents and property dealers.
Shah said if the Congress comes to power, then development would happen of party’s son-in-law (Robert Vadra), a particular district and only one community.
“You will be at the mercy of dealers and get nothing. Ten years ago, only one community got jobs, a particular district prospered and the entire Gurugram was sold to help their son-in-law. Remember the days when goons roamed fearlessly,” added Shah.
He said the Congress’ manifesto was nothing but a compilation of false promises. “Look at the states where the Congress is in power. They are making false promises. Their supporters laud Pakistan in public meetings across the state. Rahul ‘baba’ is a habitual liar. Ask him how much money was allocated to Haryana for development works during the UPA government. While they gave Rs 41,000 crore in 10 years, we provided Rs 2.92 lakh crore,” said the Home Minister.
He promised a 700-bed hospital, a 100-acre Fintech hub and metro expansion in the next term. As Agnipath Scheme is a major concern in Ahirwal, Shah promised that every Agniveer would get a pensionable job.
Narbir said every single promise made by Shah would be fulfilled by the BJP. “Send me to Chandigarh and I will get every single word materialised,” he urged the people.
