Congress anti-Dalit, misleads people to garner support: Rajnath Singh
Union Defence Minister calls upon people to vote for BJP in Haryana
Launching a blistering attack on the Congress party, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has said the Congress is anti-Dalit and it misleads people to garner their support.
Singh was addressing a poll rally in Patauda village here to seek votes for the BJP candidate from Badli Om Prakash Dhankar, who is a national secretary of the party and a former Agriculture minister.
“In recent Lok Sabha election, the Congress leaders spread lies that the BJP would amend the Constitution and also end reservation, if it came to power but I want to make it clear that the reservation system will continue as usual and not come to an end. The Congress is anti-Dalit. Hence, a senior leader in Haryana had adopted a rebellious attitude. It is surprising that the party is accusing the BJP of working against Dalits,” the Defence Minister said.
Singh added the Congress formed government in Himachal Pradesh by making a poll promise of giving monthly financial aid to every woman but it was still lying unexecuted.
“The situation has deteriorated to such an extent that the Himachal government does not have money to pay salaries to its employees. Similar situations may also take place in Haryana if the Congress comes to power here,” he added.
