Taking potshots at the BJP and the Congress in the same breath, INLD general secretary Abhay Chautala on Tuesday said the present government was working to kill the farmers and poor people and the Congress was working as a ‘B team’ of the BJP by not raising voice against them.

Abhay and BSP national convener Akash Anand on Tuesday addressed a public rally in Gohana jointly. Addressing the gathering, Abhay said if the INLD-BSP government was formed in the state, the policies of Devi Lal would be carried forward. Policies to benefit the poor people as well as farmers would be made after forming the government, he said.

He further said the INLD-BSP government would ensure Rs 7,500 pension to every elderly person, a government job to every household, unemployment allowance of Rs 21,000, a free gas cylinder along with Rs 1,100 for kitchen expenses to every woman, free school and college education, old pension scheme, free healthcare, 100 yard plot and a house to every landless person and closure of all the portals which have become problematic.

The BSP national convener said the BJP government was in the state for the last 10 years. If they came for vote to you, ask them questions over education, employment and inflation. He reiterated Abhay Chautala would be the Chief Minister if the coalition formed to the government in the state. Taking a dig at the BJP and Congress, Anand said: “You have to understand how the BJP is destroying the future of your children and the Congress is supporting them by sitting in the Oopposition,” Anand said.
