Yamunanagar, August 18

Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini today said the Congress was a victim of factionalism as Selja and Randeep Surjewala were running their own faction, and Hooda father-son their own.

Addressing a ‘Non-Stop Haryana Jan Ashirwad Rally’ held by Jagadhri MLA and Agriculture Minister Kanwar Pal Gujjar in Chhachhrauli town, he said: “Their (Congress leaders) fight is not for the welfare of Haryana, in fact, their fight is for looting the public. He said he had asked former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda five questions, but he had so far not given answers to any question.

Hooda doing politics over farmers

Bhupinder Singh Hooda is doing politics in the name of farmers. The public should ask him when the Congress was in power for 10 years and he was also the chairman of the Swaminathan Committee who stopped him from doing the welfare of farmers. Nayab Singh Saini, Chief Minister

“Now, Hooda is doing politics in the name of farmers. The public should ask him when the Congress was in power for 10 years and he was also the chairman of the Swaminathan Committee, who stopped him from doing the welfare of the farmers,” said Saini, adding he was misleading the public by telling lies.

“Deepender Hooda is saying that there is unemployment in Haryana. Deepender should also give an account of his father’s tenure and tell how many people had been given employment,” said the Chief Minister.

He said now Hooda was saying he would increase the pension of the elderly persons to Rs 6,000, but he could not increase it beyond Rs 500 during his tenure as a CM. He added that Haryana was the first state in the country where the highest pension of Rs 3000 was being given.

Gujjar said the Congress always looted Haryana and now they had again started dreaming of looting the public and the state.

“The BJP government has done tremendous development works in Haryana and the public is going to form the BJP government for the third time also in the state,” he said.
