Palwal, July 22

Congress leaders and supporters staged a demonstration here today over an alleged delay in commencing the construction of an interchange on Aligarh Road near Pelak village on the KGP (Kundli-Ghaziabad-Palwal) Expressway.

There are other issues such as damaged roads, slow pace of work of railway overbridges, power and water crisis. The protest was staged at Gurjar Bhawan in Kuslipur village and supported by the district unit of the Kisan Morcha.

HPCC chief Udaybhan who presided over the dharna said instead of carrying out development, the BJP government had been working on dividing the people on caste and communal lines.
