The party got a shot in the arm following the decision of JJP-ASP candidate Giriraj’s announcement of support for the official candidate of the Congress. INLD block president Devender Pal Dagar also joined the party.

Addressing a rally in support of Congress candidate Raghubir Singh Tewatia at Gadpuri village in the Prithla segment, Hooda said the Congress government would put money in the pockets of the people rather than selected people and capitalists who had been the main beneficiaries during the BJP rule.
