Chaudhary Devi Lal University’s law department, in collaboration with the Fatehabad police, recently organised a legal and practical training programme for police constables. The session focused on the recently introduced criminal laws.

The seminar is part of the department’s ongoing academic initiatives. Constables from various police stations in Fatehabad district participated in the programme.

Department Chairperson Ashok Makkar said such programmes not only gave participants practical exposure, but also helped them understand police procedures better. Makkar said the event was coordinated by Assistant Professor Dr Vikas Poonia.
