Traffic remained smooth on the Delhi-Gurugram Expressway on Saturday due to a lower volume of vehicles for the weekend. However, the traffic movement was slow in the Delhi area where the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is conducting construction work.

There was some congestion near IFFCO Chowk and the Sirhaul border in the evening, but overall traffic movement was smooth, with no major jams reported throughout the day on the expressway.

Traffic Inspector Dharmbir Singh noted that the reduced vehicle count for the weekend contributed to normal traffic flow.

“Our officers are prepared to handle any traffic jams and congestion on the expressway. People followed the traffic advisories, and we expect traffic to remain smooth in the coming days,” he added.
