Contaminated and non-potable supply of drinking water has been posing a risk to the health of residents in various sectors and residential areas of the city. The supply in Sector 21-C, which is considered to be posh, is no different as residents have been facing the problem, especially after the onset of the monsoons. Though the leakage and damage of the supply lines could be blamed for it, the question is what action the civic authorities are taking to remove the problem that could result in a health hazard on a large scale. The authorities concerned need to be made accountable for such a lacuna. Devinder Singh Surjewala, Faridabad
