Special sports tournaments, including volleyball and kabaddi, have been organised in various villages, with recent events in Patti Kalyana village seeing 10 volleyball and 8 kabaddi teams participate.

The district police have also launched initiatives to trace properties acquired by drug paddlers from their illegal activities. As a result, 89 pistols, 60 cartridges and three magazines have been recovered from criminals involved in illegal arms trafficking.
