A ceremony to honour police personnel was organised at the State Emergency Response Centre here on the occasion of Good Governance Day. Haryana Director General of Police (DGP) Shatrujeet Kapur graced the occasion as the chief guest.
During the event, Kapur honoured the police personnel who had performed commendable work in various fields. In the ceremony, the DGP honoured seven police personnel, who received the DGP Uttam Seva Medal and a total of 25 police personnel who performed excellent work in Haryana 112.
In the ceremony, Inspector Harinder Singh was awarded the DGP Uttam Seva Medal for his commendable work in upgrading the SWAN bandwidth to 10 Mbps and digitising wireless communication for the 'SWAN' project.
Similarly, Inspector Rajesh was honoured for his significant contribution in the implementation and monitoring of the CCTNS and ICJS projects. Sub-Inspector Ashok Kumar, who is working in the DDA branch, was honoured for his exceptionally excellent work in defending cases in the Punjab and Haryana High Court and lower courts.
Similarly, Sub-Inspector Surender Singh was honoured for his commendable work in the STF Rohtak. Similarly, Sub-Inspector Kulbir Singh was honoured for his commendable contribution for implementing the e-challaning application. ASI Rajesh has reunited 845 missing children with their families across the country, for which he was honoured. Similarly, Constable Rohit demonstrated exceptional courage in service by playing a key role in arresting major criminals during his posting in the STF, Sonepat, and played a key role in arresting the accused, for which he was honoured.
