Bittu Bajrangi, a notorious cow vigilante and national president of Gau Raksha Bajrang Force, has landed in hot water again for his incendiary antics. This time, he’s facing the music for announcing a reward for anyone who brings him the severed neck of Samajwadi Party MP Ramji Lal Suman.

In a video posted on Facebook, Bajrangi appealed to his “Hindu brothers” to take up the gruesome challenge, promising a suitable reward from his organisation. The video quickly went viral, catching the attention of Faridabad police officials.

Inspector Krishan Kumar, SHO of the Saran police station, received the video via WhatsApp and promptly filed a complaint against Bajrangi. The complaint alleged that Bajrangi’s video hurt religious sentiments and promoted disharmony.

Consequently, an FIR was registered against Bajrangi under Sections 196 and 299 of the IPC at the Saran police station. While Bajrangi is no stranger to controversy – he was accused in the Nuh violence case in July 2023 – this latest incident has sparked widespread outrage.

“The matter is under investigation, and the accused will be arrested soon,” assured Yashpal, spokesperson for the Faridabad police.
