Crime against Dalits on the rise under BJP: Deepender
Congress MP Deepender Singh Hooda today slammed the BJP over rise in attacks on members of the Dalit community.
Hooda, who was a chief guest at Valmiki Temple in Rohtak, alleged that the attacks on the Dalits had doubled in the last 10 years.
“The crimes against Dalits, which were 16.2 per cent in 2014, have now reached 38.8 per cent. The BJP government has been continuously hurting the constitutional rights of poor, weak and deprived sections of society,” he said. The Rohtak MP maintained that the welfare of the nation can be ensured only by following the path shown by the creator of the epic Ramayan.
