Dabwali police crackdown on drug traffickers, criminals
In Dabwali, the police have launched a special search operation targeting drug traffickers and criminals involved in illegal activities. The operation, which involved around 10 teams from the Dabwali police, took place in various wards of the town and rural areas on Tuesday. Police raided several homes, searching for drugs and evidence of criminal activities.
During the search, the police detained individuals involved in drug trafficking under Section 172 of the BNS Act. Additionally, Six people were arrested for involvement in drug smuggling, illegal weapons, liquor laws, fraud and fights.
The Superintendent of Police, Siddhant Jain, explained that strict actions were being taken against drug traffickers and those providing protection to them. He emphasised that the goal of the search operation was to effectively control the drug trade and criminal activities in the area. The operation will continue in future.
Jain also praised the cooperation of village panchayats and local people, which has led to positive results in the fight against drugs. So far, 48 villages and 8 wards in Dabwali and Kalanwali towns have declared themselves free of drugs.
He urged the public to contribute to this cause by reporting any information about drug traffickers via phone, SMS, or WhatsApp on 70820-14523, 1668-299100 to the police.
