Dadri MLA Suneel Sangwan said today that the Rose Garden in Dadri town of Charkhi Dadri district would undergo major beautification and renovation at an estimated cost of Rs 2.65 crore.

Sangwan said the project would equip the garden with modern facilities and give it a complete new look. He said the tender for the work had already been issued by the department concerned and the project was expected to commence soon.

The MLA said the upgraded park would have improved lighting with high-mast lights, new play equipment for children, fountains and a newly constructed track. He said all damaged roads inside park will be repaired and new plantation work would be undertaken. A drainage system would also be installed to prevent waterlogging during the monsoon season, he said.
