Giving a warning to the JEs and panchayat secretaries, the DC said if village sarpanch gave a resolution against them, they would be charge-sheeted immediately and if gram panchayat gives a resolution, action would be initiated against the Block Development and Panchayat Officer (BDPO).

It came to the fore during a meeting that despite having the funds, due to the lethargic attitude of some panchayat secretaries, development works were being delayed.
