DC reviews projects undertaken under CM announcements

Ambala Deputy Commissioner Ajay Singh Tomer on Tuesday held a meeting with the officials of various departments and reviewed the projects under the CM announcements.

The Deputy Commissioner inquired about the projects with different department, their status report, progress and pending projects.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Dr Brahmjeet Singh informed the Deputy Commissioner that 289 announcements were made under the CM announcements in Ambala district of which while 246 have been completed, 26 were under progress while seven were pending. Besides these, 10 were found to be not feasible.

During the meeting, Tomer reviewed the upgrade work of Civil Hospital, Ambala City, PET scan machine at Civil hospital, Ambala Cantonment, status of ring-road, renovation of Navrang Rai Pond, Mahavir Park, Taramandal, construction of multi-level parking in Ambala, City, bus stand in Jansua village, bus queue shelter in Mullana, community centres of the Panchayati Raj Department and other pending projects.

The DC directed the officials of the various departments to upload the status report of the projects on the portal and complete the pending projects within the stipulated time frame.

Officials from the Health Department, PWD (B&R), marketing board, revenue, Haryana Rroadways, Development and Panchayat Department and other departments were present during the meeting.
