Addressing a gathering in Adampur, he said it’s time to change the political history of Adampur segment by ensuring the victory of the Congress candidate. Congress nominee Chander Prakash is up against sitting MLA of BJP Bhavya Bishnoi. Hooda said it’s now or never for the people of Adampur. “This is the right time. I urge you not to miss this opportunity,” he said. Recalling the bypoll contest in November 2022 when th e Congress candidate Jai Prakash was defeated by Bishnoi by about 15,000 votes, the Rohtak MP said it was a moral defeat for the BJP as entire state machinery and the rival parties, including the INLD and the JJP, were jointly at work to defeat the Congress in Adampur byelection.

He also targeted the INLD and the JJP, terming these parties as vote katwa. He said both chacha bhatija (Abhay Chautala and Dushyant Chautala) were in the role of cutting into votes so to help the BJP. “They stand exposed and thus now are crying foul,” he said.

Referring to Abhay, he said people would not let you play the role of cutting into the Congress vote. “It’s a direct contest between the Congress and the BJP and INLD and JJP are facing a tough contest to score over NOTA. Abhay and Dushyant will not be successful in their pursuit,” he said.
