“Our government is serious about quick disposal of grievances. Therefore, delay without any reason will invite stringent action against the officers concerned,” said Sandeep Singh.

After chairing the meeting of the District Grievances Redressal Committee at mini secretariat here on Thursday, he said he was taking a keen interest in strengthening the ‘khel nurseries’ to promote sports activities in the state.

“I was a player and I know the ground realities of the sports field. Therefore, I am working to promote sports activities in the state,” said Sandeep Singh.

As many as 15 complainants came before the District Grievances Redressal Committee. Out of these 15 complaints, eight were disposed off on the spot. The remaining seven will come for further hearing in the next meeting.
