Delhi Assembly polls: BJP workers celebrate victory in Jhajjar, Bahadurgarh
Local leaders and workers of the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) on Saturday celebrated the party's victory in the Delhi Assembly elections with great enthusiasm at Ambedkar Chowk in the city. The celebration, led by BJP district president Rajpal Jangra, saw workers congratulating each other and sharing ‘jalebis’. They also danced to the beats of drums to express their happiness.
Speaking on the occasion, Jangra attributed the victory to the policies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying that Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah deserved special congratulations for this success. He also emphasised that the 27-year-long drought of BJP in Delhi had come to an end with this win.
Similar celebrations also took place in Bahadurgarh town where the party workers danced to the beats of drums. They congratulated each other by sharing laddus, further fueling the festive spirit.
BJP leader Dinesh Kaushik praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the hero behind this victory. He emphasised that under Modi's leadership, both Haryana and Delhi would experience unprecedented development.
