Continuing his campaign, CM Nayab Singh Saini addressed public meetings in different MCs of Kaithal and Karnal, including Siwan, Kalayat, Pundri, Nilokheri and Indri, on Thursday.

“I had a meeting with PM Narendra Modi today, during which he reviewed Haryana’s progress and key projects,” Saini said, while addressing a rally in Siwan, where he sought votes for party chairperson candidate Shally Munjal and councillor candidates.

He also addressed a rally at Kalayat for chairperson candidate Mainpal Singh and councillor candidates, and at Pundri, in favour of party chairperson candidate Mamta Saini and councillor candidates. At Nilokheri, he sought votes for party chairperson candidate Sanmeet Kaur Ahuja and councillor candidates, and at Indri, for chairperson candidate Jaspal Bairagi and other candidates.

Addressing voters, he said, “Ensure the BJP's victory, and I take responsibility for the progress of your areas.” Targeting the Congress, he said, “Congress leaders only know how to tweet, but now even their tweets smell of corruption,” he alleged.

Saini claimed that the BJP had fulfilled 18 key promises within the first 100 days of forming the government. “We promised in our manifesto to allocate plots to poor families, and we have already distributed 30-30 sq-yard plots to 15,340 families across 14 cities under the Urban Housing Scheme. Now, in the first phase after March 12, the BJP will provide 100-100 sq-yard plots to one lakh families living in rural areas,” he said.

Saini said the party had implemented significant reforms, including free dialysis services in government hospitals, the PGI, and medical colleges, granting land ownership rights to tenants cultivating leased land, ownership rights to families residing on panchayati land for over 20 years, and providing 15 lakh women with LPG cylinders for Rs 500.

He accused the Congress of failing to deliver on its promises in Himachal Pradesh, where it pledged Rs 1,500 per month to women and subsidised LPG, but had not implemented the schemes. He also alleged that during the Haryana Assembly elections, the Congress attempted to halt government recruitment to mislead the youth. “As soon as the BJP returned to power, I took the oath as CM only after ensuring jobs for 25,000 youth,” he added.
