Rohtak, October 5
Amid the prevalence of Covid, cases of dengue and malaria are also being reported from various pockets in Rohtak district.
As per the official figures, as many as 24 cases of dengue and six of malaria have been reported from the district so far.
Several teams of the Health Department have been scanning the residential localities as well as offices and marketplaces for mosquito larvae.
District Malaria Officer Dr Anupama Mittal said notices had been issued to as many as 3,196 persons on whose premises mosquito larvae were found.
Insect collectors are also accompanying the Health Department teams to trace the original sources where mosquitoes are breeding.
Apart from making the residents aware of Covid, samples for dengue and chikungunya are being taken at community health centres as per the instructions of the state authorities.
