Deputy Commissioner Parth Gupta inspected the Forest Department’s nursery at Bilaspur. Divisional Forest Officer Virender Singh Gill said, including shisham, jamun, arjun, behada, safeda, peelkhan and others were prepared at the nursery. “The total area in Yamunanagar district is 1,756 square kilometres. Out of which, only 13.3 per cent is forest land,” said Gill. He said the Haryana Government provided 3.55 lakh plants to farmers, and various departments.
