Desh Bhagat University has established its second campus, Desh Bhagat University Americas School of Medicine in St Vincent and the Grenadines, in the North American continent.

This new campus offers students the opportunity to pursue a medical degree (MBBS programme), furthering the university’s commitment to providing quality education in the field of medicine.

During an interaction with mediapersons, Vice-Chancellor Dr Harsh Sadawarti said Desh Bhagat University Americas (DBUA) School of Medicine offers pathways for students to pursue clinical rotations in the US, thus providing valuable international exposure.

He said a comprehensive curriculum and experienced faculty attract students seeking quality medical education.

The DBUA offers a curriculum aligned with international standards, preparing students for exams like the USMLE. Compared to medical schools in some other countries, the DBUA offers more affordable tuition fees, making medical education accessible to a broader range.

Dr Sadawarti said the state-of-the-art infrastructure, modern laboratories and well-equipped classrooms had been established for a conducive learning environment.

DBUA offers dedicated support and resources for preparing for the USMLE exams. It can be a significant advantage for students aiming to practice medicine in the US.

Arun Malik, director of operations at the DBUA School of Medicine, said they would ensure that graduates not only excel in medical careers but also contribute significantly to global healthcare.
