The Gurugram police nabbed a dhaba owner and his cook for allegedly spitting on rotis. The videos went viral following which arrests were made. An FIR has been registered and duo was let off on police bail.

According to the complaint filed by a local news reporter, Bhagat Singh, who got a video on Whatsapp group yesterday in which the dhaba owner and his cook were seen spitting on rotis. He reached Alsifa Hotel in Sector 12 and found it to be true and called the police.

After getting information, a police team led by Sub-inspector Krishan Kumar reached on the spot and detained dhaba owner Mohammad Ibrahim and his cook Usman Malik. During questioning they kept on denying the charges. An FIR was registered various sections of the IPC, Section 3 of the Pandemic Act and section 51-B of the Disaster Management Act at the Sector 14 police station.

“The video which went viral clearly shows that they were spitting on rotis. We are verifying the facts while both were let off on police bail”, said Krishan Kumar, the investigating officer.
