Through the ‘Buniyaad’ and ‘Super-100’ programmes, underprivileged students from Class VIII onwards were being prepared for competitive examinations to secure a bright future. He added that examination results in government schools had touched 95 per cent, helping change parents’ perceptions of government and private institutions.

“Learning through play and observation leads to permanent knowledge, which guides children throughout their lives. The district administration has established the NIPUN Vatika under an ambitious project,” he said, appreciating the efforts of the school staff.

While viewing the posters created by children in the Vatika, Dhanda praised their creativity and congratulated the teachers. Students welcomed the minister on his arrival and explained the arrangements made in the Vatika to support simple and effective learning.

“To enhance students’ skills, the government launched the Buniyaad programme for students after Class VIII, under which they receive coaching for competitive exams. Students who qualify for Super-100 also receive free coaching and have set new records. The government has taken numerous steps to make students proficient in sports, academics and other fields,” he said.

Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta said the district administration had introduced several initiatives to make teaching easy and engaging. “In the NIPUN Vatika, efforts have been made to educate children through playful learning. Science, mathematics and other subjects are taught in a fun and engaging manner, and students are taking keen interest. A similar programme is being designed for students above Class VIII as well,” he added.
