The Bharatiya Janata Party on Monday took out a Tiranga Yatra in Jhajjar city, echoing with chants celebrating the bravery of the Army. The yatra was led by BJP national secretary and former minister Om Prakash Dhankar, who paid tributes to those soldiers who laid down their lives for nation and honoured war widows and veterans.

Speaking on the occasion, Dhankar praised the precision of the Army’s recent Operation Sindoor, stating that Pakistan was forced to plead for a ceasefire within just four days. “Our forces have eliminated the terrorists responsible for the Pahalgam attack and destroyed Pakistani drones — borrowed from China and Turkey — mid-air,” he said.

The yatra began at Dr BR Ambedkar Chowk and concluded at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Chowk, drawing participation from ex-servicemen, BJP workers, youth, women, and members of social organisations.

Dhankar emphasised that New India no longer differentiated between terrorism and the nations that bred it. He declared, “There will be no symbolic responses now. India will retaliate with decisive military action, whether across the border or deep inside enemy territory. No amount of nuclear blackmail or border threats will deter us.”

He further stated that India’s Pakistan policy has shifted focus—from talks and diplomacy to national security and sovereignty. “Terrorism and talks cannot go hand in hand. There will be no trade with terror and no water will flow alongside blood,” Dhankar remarked.
