Dilbag Singh named Registrar of Indira Gandhi University
As per the directions of Governor and Indira Gandhi University, Mirpur Rewari, Chancellor Bandaru Dattatreya, Dilbag Singh from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Chaudhary Devi Lal University (CDLU), Sirsa, has been appointed the Registrar of Indira Gandhi University.
CDLU Public Relations Department Director Amit said Singh had expressed his gratitude to the Governor, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda and CDLU Vice-Chancellor Narsee Ram Bishnoi for his appointment.
Dilbag Singh, who completed his higher education at Kurukshetra University, has been working at CDLU, Sirsa, for a long time. He has held various important positions such as member of the Executive Council, Academic Council, Dean (Colleges), Dean (Students’ Welfare), Dean (Physical Sciences), Dean (Computer Science and Engineering), Director (Public Relations), and president of the alumni association. He has been honoured twice by the Deputy Commissioner of Sirsa. Singh has participated in various national and international workshops, conferences and short-term courses.
Forty-five of his research papers have been published in various journals. The academic staff, non-teaching employees and students of CDLU congratulated Singh on his appointment, and wished him a bright future.
