Disposing cow dung in drains of dairy complexes to invite action in Yamunanagar, Jagadhri
The authorities of Municipal Corporation, Yamunanagar-Jagadhri (MC) have issued instructions to dairy owners to not throw cow dung in drains of dairy complexes.
The MC authorities warned them that a challan would be issued to the dairy owners found violating the directions.
According to information,MC Chief Sanitary Inspector Sunil Dutt conducted a surprise inspection in a dairy complex situated in Kail village to check the cleanliness arrangements there
During inspection, he found that while the cleanliness arrangements were found to be satisfactory, some dairy owners had thrown cow dung in the drains. “The roads and lanes in the dairy complex were found to be clean, but cow dung was disposed of in the drains. Therefore, the dairy owners were asked not to throw it in the drains,” said CSI Dutt.
He said instructions were given to the MC employees associated with sanitation work to undertake cleanliness work
regularly in dairy
complexes.
“During the inspection, I talked to the president of the Dairy Owners’ Association and several dairy owners. They were directed asked to refrain from disposing of dung in the drains as it caused blockage,” said CSI Dutt.
He appealed to all dairy owners not to flush the dung in the drains through water and instructed Sanitation Inspectors to get the dairy complexes regularly cleaned and the dung lifted from dairies.
