Faridabad, August 24
Preeti Bhardwaj Dalal, a member of the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR), visited an orphanage located in Chandpur village on Friday in connection with the inspection regarding certain alleged irregularities at the place.
The commission found 30 girls living in two different orphanages, while officially the number had been 29. The commission also objected to the operation of an orphanage having 13 minor girls, which was also being run as a “paid hostel” here. Preeti said strict action would be taken against those found involved in any sort of wrongdoing.
