Urban Local Bodies Minister Kamal Gupta flagged off garbage collection vehicles from the MC office today. About 40 vehicles have been deployed for the collection of garbage in these areas. The contract has been given to the company at the rate of Rs 1,840 per tonne, thus approximately Rs 7.80 crore will be spent annually,” he said, adding that the work had started from today (Monday).
