As per police reports, preliminary investigation suggests that a dispute led to the attack. The victims had allegedly made comments about the sisters of two accused, which sparked retaliation from a group of teenagers. Seven juveniles, aged between 15 and 16, have been detained and police are investigating the involvement of others. A case has been registered under Sections 190, 191(3), 103, 61(2), and the SC and ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act by the Sadar police Kaithal.
