Dr Ambedkar immortal champion of social harmony: VC KUK
The department of youth and cultural affairs paid tributes to Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar on Mahaparinirvan Diwas on the premises of Kurukshetra University.
While paying the tributes to the statue of Dr BR Ambedkar, the Vice- Chancellor, Kurukshetra University, Prof Som Nath Sachdeva, said Dr Ambedkar's vision and commitment made him an immortal champion of social harmony as he worked to uplift the downtrodden and the deprived.
Prof Sachdeva further said Dr Ambedkar struggled for years to make India socially and politically strong and the youth should take inspiration from his life and fulfil their duties and responsibilities in the development of the nation. On the occasion, KU Registrar Prof Sanjeev Sharma said we all need to follow the path shown by Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar.
On the occasion, KU Dean Academic Affairs Prof Dinesh Kumar, Prof Ramesh Bhardwaj, Prof Amit Ludri, Prof and other teachers and non-teaching staff were present.
