Dr Kumar appointed registrar of Sirsa varsity

Dr Sunil Kumar, Associate Professor in the department of business administration at Chaudhary Devi Lal University (CDLU), Sirsa, has been appointed as a new Registrar of the university. The appointment was made as per the orders of Prof Asheem Kumar Ghosh, Governor of Haryana and Chancellor of the CDLU. The official notification was issued by Raj Bhawan on Thursday.

Dr Kumar expressed his gratitude to the Governor, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda for entrusting him with the important responsibility.

Vice-Chancellor Prof Vijay Kumar also congratulated Dr Kumar and wished him a successful tenure. Dr Kumar holds a PhD in business administration, along with BBA and MBA degrees. His research interests include marketing management and human resource management. He has over 12 years of teaching experience and has actively participated in more than 25 national and international seminars, conferences and workshops, where he presented his research papers.

He has published 19 research papers in reputed national and international journals and edited volumes. Additionally, he has authored three books on compensation management, marketing management, and human resource management. He is frequently invited as a guest speaker by various universities and colleges.

Dr Kumar has also been an active member of several key university committees.
