Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini today called upon youngsters to take a pledge to uphold the pride of the national flag, and to move forward with unwavering commitment to service, dedication and self-respect.
The Chief Minister was here to lead a ‘Tiranga Yatra’ in Ladwa Assembly constituency.
While addressing a gathering, the CM said, “While many military operations were witnessed in the past, Operation Sindoor stands out as an extraordinary example of human resolve, technological prowess and strategic precision. Operation Sindoor has sent a strong message to the world about India’s courage and it also reflects the Prime Minister’s unwavering commitment to the safety and protection of Indian citizens.”
“Our brave soldiers struck deep into Pakistan’s territory and eliminated the terrorists, sending a strong message that any threat to India's sovereignty will have serious consequences. The missile strikes carried out by Indian forces not only impacted Pakistan but also resonated globally, with their echoes reaching as far as China and the United States. When the matter was discussed at the international level, the ceasefire demonstrated that while India is not in favour of war, it will not remain silent if peace is mistaken for weakness. This blend of valour and restraint is what makes our nation truly great,” he said.
The Chief Minister called upon the youngsters to build an India that draws strength from its glorious past and strides confidently toward a strong and self-reliant future. He emphasised that the ‘Tiranga Yatra’ is not just a march with the national flag, but a meaningful opportunity to honour the true spirit of patriotism and the sacrifices made for the nation.
A large number of youth, women and senior citizens participated in the yatra led by the Chief Minister. The yatra commenced from the Bus Stand in Ladwa and concluded at Ramkundi after passing through various areas, including Ladwa-Indri road, Hinori Chowk and Indri Chowk. During the yatra, the Chief Minister garlanded the statue of the martyr Madan Lal Dhingra. The CM paid floral tribute to the martyrs of the Pahalgam attack at the auditorium of Ramkundi Dharamshala.
Speaking to mediapersons, the CM criticised Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann and said that due to arrogance, the Punjab CM refused to follow the teachings of the Gurus and stopped Haryana’s share of water. He should get rid of such politics and work in the interest of society. Punjab must abide by the verdicts of the Supreme Court and High Court and stop obstructing Haryana’s legitimate rights, he said. He appealed to the Punjab Chief Minister to rise above political considerations and fulfil his constitutional responsibility.
About his meeting with the Prime Minister, CM Nayab Saini said new opportunities are being created to ensure development in Haryana. Under the Amrit Station Scheme, several railway stations are undergoing significant upgrades.
