Drug dealer nabbed in Hisar

The Hisar unit of the Haryana State Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) arrested a drug trafficker and seized 1.82 kg of ganja from Talwandi Rukka village in the district.

DSP Satyendra Kumar said that acting on a tip-off, the NCB team led by Sub-Inspector Rajpal Singh conducted an operation and intercepted Pramod, a resident of Talwandi Badshahpur, near Syahadwa village and recovered the contraband during a search.

A case was registered under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 at the Azad Nagar police station in Hisar. Preliminary investigations revealed that the accused had been engaged in selling drugs for some time. Efforts are under way to trace the main supplier and arrest other accomplices involved in the drug network.
