Joining prominent public figures — actors, singers and sportspersons — Mahamandaleshwar Swami Kapil Puri, the Deputy Acharya of Juna Akhada and Peethadheeshwar of Gaukarna Peeth, has taken part in the state Narcotics Control Bureau’s popular initiative against drug abuse by accepting the popular #NashaMukt Nayaab Jeevan Bucket Challenge.

“The Bucket Challenge involves participants pouring over themselves a bucket of muddy water, which symbolises the harmful consequences of drug addiction. By then discarding the dirty water, participants demonstrate their resolve to eliminate addiction from their lives and embrace a healthier future,” he said.

Swami Kapil Puri commended the NCB for initiating the unique de-addiction campaign. He noted that notable public figures — Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao, Olympics gold medallist Neeraj Chopra, and boxing champion Vijender Singh — had also taken part in the challenge, setting an example for others to follow in the fight against addiction.
