On the call of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, the ongoing Cyclothon 2.0, with the aim of creating a drug-free Haryana, entered Panipat on Wednesday.

In Sonepat, MLA Nikhil Madaan, Mayor Rajiv Jain and BJP state president Mohan Lal Badoli flagged off the rally’s Panipat stretch on Wednesday morning.

Cyclothon-2.0 entered Sonepat from Kharkhoda on Tuesday. Ashok Kumar administered an anti-drug oath to the participants of the programme. Badoli, addressing the gathering at the flagging-off event at Tiranga Chowk, said drug abuse was the biggest evil in our society. He called upon people, especially youngsters, to avoid the path of drug addiction, and praised the efforts made by the CM to make Haryana a drug-free state.
