Drug peddler arrested in Sonepat
A team of the Haryana State Narcotics Control Bureau (HSNCB) nabbed a woman drug supplier from Matindu Chowk in Kharkhoda and recovered 18.43 gm of heroin from her possession.
The accused has been identified as Mamta of Thana Khurd village in Kharkhoda. SI Jaibeer Singh, Incharge, Rohtak unit of the bureau, said that a team led by ASI Rohtas was on patrolling duty near Matindu Chowk in Kharkhoda. They received a tip-off that Mamta was involved in drug peddling and was selling heroin on the Barona road in Kharkhoda.
Following the tip-off, the police team nabbed her. She was searched in the presence of a gazetted officer and 18.43-gm heroin was recovered from her possession.
