A Nigerian drug peddler was arrested by the Crime unit here and 7-gm heroin was seized from his possession. He was produced in a city court today and sent into judicial custody.

According to the police, the arrested accused has been identified as Bethel Kelechi Aroh (26), presently working with an African restaurant in Delhi. He was held from near Ambiance Mall and an FIR has been registered. “The arrested accused said he had purchased the drugs from Delhi to make easy money after selling it in Gurugram. We are trying to nab the person who provided him with the drugs in Delhi,” said Preet Pal Singh Sangwan, ACP, crime. — OC
