A drunk youth not only snatched a bike after being denied a lift, but also set it on fire. The incident occurred on Thursday night and an FIR was registered at the Sector 58 police station. The accused has since been arrested.

Acting on the complaint by aisal Khan, a resident of Bijopur village, the police registered an FIR the same night and arrested the accused.

“The accused has been identified as Pushpendra, a resident of Bhanakpur village. During interrogation, he admitted to being under the influence of alcohol and is also addicted to drugs. Further investigation is underway,” said a spokesperson for Faridabad police.
