Dushyant thanks PM for slew of development projects in state

Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala today expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for giving a bonanza of development projects worth Rs 9,770 crore to the state.

In a statement issued here, the Deputy CM said the establishment of an AIIMS in the village of Majra Mustil Bhalki in Rewari district, at an approximate cost of Rs 1,650 crore, would enhance healthcare facilities in Haryana, benefiting not only the people of the state but also neighbouring Rajasthan.

Hailing today’s visit of Modi as a milestone in strengthening railway infrastructure in the state, Chautala said the Gurugram Metro project, to be built at a cost of Rs 5,450 crore, would further accelerate the development of Gurugram.

He also highlighted the significance of doubling railway line projects such as the Bhiwani-Dhob Bahali rail line at a cost of Rs 470 crore, Mahendragarh-Bawani Khera rail line at Rs 410 crore, Rewari-Khatuwas line at Rs 350 crore and Khatwas-Narnaul rail line at Rs 310 crore. These projects would improve connectivity and facilitate easier transportation of passengers and goods, he added.
