The state government has opened the e-kshatipurti portal for the farmers of 21 villages in three tehsils of the district, including Rohtak, Sampla and Kalanaur. Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta said the decision to open the portal had been taken in view of waterlogging in 6,786 acres of agricultural land in the villages.
Stating that the portal would remain open till September 15, Gupta appealed to the affected farmers to register their crop-loss claims on the portal.
"The district administration had requested the state government to open the e-kshatipurti portal for these 21 villages. Acceding to the request, the state government has opened the portal so that the affected farmers can register the damage caused to their kharif crops in 2025," he said.
The nine villages of Rohtak tehsil are Bahu Akbarpur, Bhalauth, Humayunpur, Bakheta, Rurki, Polangi, Aasan, Mungan and Kansala.
The villages of Kalanaur tehsil are Bechirag Manjha, Basana, Khairdi, Bhali-Anandpur, Lahli, Taimurpur, Sangahera, Maraudi Jatan and Maraudi Rangran.
