Councillors Bhagwat Dayal Kataria, Rishipal Numberdar, Shrikant Monty, Amandeep Chotabans and Rajiv Arya Sunny were included in the committee formed for the three-day wrestling competition to be held by the MC during the mela.

It was decided that the MC would rope in contractors, who will be authorised to set up shops at the mela through bidding. The MC will take the bid amount from the contractor, who will be able to collect money from shopkeepers at the mela. The MC will make arrangements of cleanliness, drinking water, toilets and lights. The MC will also give a contract to catch stray cattle roaming in the town. After catching the stray cattle, the contractor will leave them in gaushalas.
