Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today accepted 11 major demands of the Haryana unit of the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS).

Khattar, while presiding over a meeting with members of the BMS, directed officers concerned to ensure that PACS employees get the benefits of ex-gratia and the cashless medical scheme. Besides, he also ordered them to resolve the issue of promotion of PACS employees in Central Cooperative Banks.

Khattar directed the officers concerned to resolve the matter of pending salaries of rural tubewell operators within 15 days and bring watchmen deputed in rural areas under the purview of PF rules. He also directed the officers to ensure the benefit of additional incentive amount to ANMs working in urban health centres from September 2019. BMS demanded the removal of discrepancies in the matter of minimum wages and the withdrawal of court cases against computer operators The CM directed the officers to withdraw the cases. — TNS
