Ensure speedy probe in MBBS exam scam: CPM to govt

The state committee of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) Haryana has demanded that the state government should ensure speedy investigation into the MBBS exam scam so as to expose all those involved in it at the earliest and take stern action against them.

“Investigation is being made at a tardy pace in the MBBS exam scam even after the media exposed a deep-rooted racket involving a huge amount of money in lieu of getting the students passed by tempering with the examination answersheets,” said Prem Chand, state secretary, CPM, in a press note issued here on Wednesday.

He also alleged that the scam brazenly exposed how the nexus was playing with the life of the people that were supposed to be saved by competent doctors. He demanded the Haryana Government to swiftly act and unravel the real faces behind the scandal before the vested interests succeed in hushing up the nefarious game that had dented the holy image of the medical profession.
