Ensure uninterrupted electricity supply, Haryana minister directs officials
Mahendragarh, July 10
Power Minister Ranjit Singh directed the electricity officials to ensure uninterrupted supply in the district in July and August, keeping in view the bad weather conditions during these months.
The minister issued the directives while chairing a meeting of district public relations and grievances redressal committee in Narnaul here on Wednesday. A total 13 grievances were discussed at the meeting and nine were resolved on the spot.
“The main goal of the government and administration is to resolve public issues quickly. People’s problems are also being solved on the spot in the Samadhan Shivirs, being organised on the instructions of the Chief Minister. People themselves have also appreciated this initiative,” said the minister on the occasion.
Earlier, Ranjit Singh listened to a complaint regarding encroachments on a village panchayat land and directed a team of officials to visit the spot along with the members of the greviances redressal committee and suggest a solution to the problem.
Apart from this, on the complaint of Sube Singh of Nagantihadi village, regarding an electricity connection, he directed the committee to visit the spot to solve his problem. During the meeting, the Power Minister also heard the complaints regarding waterlogging in Narnaul city and instructed the officials concerned to first remove the illegal encroachments then clean the drains.
On reaching the Panchayat Bhawan, Deputy Commissioner Monika Gupta welcomed the minister. Ateli MLA Sitaram Yadav, Narnaul Municipal Council Chairperson Kamlesh Saini, BJP District President Dayaram Yadav were among those present on the occasion.
