Envoys discuss trade, education with Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given powers to Indian states with regard to promotion of foreign trade, commerce, education, tourism, art and culture.

This was stated today by the Governor of Haryana, Bandaru Dattatreya, while interacting with the ambassadors, high commissioners and representatives of seven countries who came to meet him at Raj Bhawan here.

In this group of foreign delegations, High Commissioner of Fiji Kamlesh Shashi Prakash, High Commissioner of Papua New Guinea Paulias Carni Obe, General Councilor of the Union of Kormos KL Ganjoo, Burkina Faso’s Head of Consular Affairs Collibelli D Herbe, Principato D Seborga (West Attica) Representative HV Jain, Egyptian Embassy representative Mustafa F Sekhon and Nigeria’s Mustafa Ebobkar Diori and more than a dozen representatives of Global Trade and Technology Council of India were present. Bandaru Dattatreya welcomed the delegates and said that with visits and meetings on such a large scale, the relations between our country as well as of the states with foreign countries would be enhanced. It would lead to progress in trade, agriculture, art, culture, education and environment between other states and countries. — TNS
